He advises exfoliating your skin first to get rid of the dead skin on the outermost layer of your face. Then to rid of the dead skin cells cleanse your face by washing it. Lastly, hydrate and more straws your skin by nourishing it with a moisturizer enriched with vitamins.
Rose Water Face Mist
Kim Kardashian uses Glossier Rose Water Face Mist but instead of committing to the $18 bottle that weighs in at 4 fl oz. before trying it, why not make your own solution instead. The mist is said to be a nice mid-day refresher that smells lovely and can be used to hydrate your skin even more after washing it. You’ll need: 2 teaspoons Pure Aloe Vera, 1 teaspoon Pure Vitamin E Oil, 1 teaspoon Pure Argan Oil, 4 drops Geranium Essential Oil, 2 drops Ylang Ylang Essential Oil, 4 drops Peppermint Essential Oil, 6 tablespoons Pure Moroccan Rose Water, Unscented Witch Hazel Toner and distilled water. Shake and spray.
Moisturizer instead of Makeup Primer
Kim K recently did a make master class with extraordinaire Mario Dedivanovic. During the pack session, Mario advised the artist to swap out a primer for moisturizer instead. He says that he doesn’t like a primer to be used because it separates makeup from the skin. Using a moisturizer will nurse your skin and keep it hydrated, unlike a primer that is there only to help you make up last longer.
Apply foundation everywhere.
Most people just consider foundation and make up for the face but in order to accomplish Kardashian’s all over glow try applying foundation all over your body. One of her make up artist uses this technique to make sure she hasn’t all over smooth finished look on her skin. Apply foundation to your ears, cleavage, neck area, and even arms and legs to get that nice bronzed and finished the look.
“Bake” dark circles away.
Let’s face it, not everyone has a flawless complexion, most people have dark under-eye circles. So to hide those puppies, apply concealer under the eyes over your foundation in the shape of an upside triangle. Using a concealer brush dissolve the application into your nose and sweep it towards your temples. Apply loose face powder atop the concealer to seal it in and leave for a few minutes.
Clean your makeup brushes.
Your makeup brushes can get bogged down with your oils from your face, so in order to keep your skin clear, it’s important that you wash your brushes. Each brush is different so the tech needs to wash you should brush should be catered to the texture of the bristles. Brushes with fine bristles should be washed more softly than others because you don’t want them to be damaged. Brushes with thicker bristles should be conditioned because you don’t want them to get rough over time.
Never sleep in your makeup
Sleeping with your makeup on will damage your skin over time. The make of left on your skin overnight gets clogged in your pores causing them to stretch out and have you looking as though you age faster. For the do it yourself way try making makeup remover wipes at home. All you need is coconut oil tear-free baby wash and purified water. Mix all of these together in a microwave, dip cotton wipes into the solution and then store in a mason jar by your bed.
